PROFESSIONAL CAREER EDUCATION 2008 Scholarship Program
PCEd offers tuition scholarships to new students who meet specified criteria. Students who qualify have the opportunity to win a tuition scholarship that will cover the cost of their entire program, including textbooks!

PCEd offers the following scholarships:

Scholarship Seal Career Education Scholarship
Deadline: July 8, 2008
Awarded: July 30, 2008
Scholarship Seal New Beginnings Scholarship
Deadline: August 1, 2008
Awarded: August 23, 2008
Scholarship Seal The American Dream Scholarship
Deadline:  September 19, 2008
Awarded: October 11, 2008
Scholarship Seal Education is Life-Transforming Scholarship
Deadline: November 4, 2008
Awarded: November 26, 2008

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a PCEd scholarship, the applicant must:

  • Be at least 18 years old. (Scholarship winner will need to provide proof of age.)
  • Write an essay (minimum of 500 words), describing why you believe you deserve to receive the tuition scholarship.
  • Demonstrate a financial need. (You can demonstrate your need in your essay.)
  • Be committed to investing the time and energy to complete the program.
  • Submit a completed application.
  • Email or mail the application, including the essay, no later than the scholarship’s deadline date.

Email or mail your completed application, which must be postmarked no later than the scholarship’s deadline date. Note that an incomplete or late application will not be accepted.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • Scholarship winners do not receive a cash award.
  • The scholarship award can only be used for a PCEd program.
  • The scholarship award can only be used for one PCEd program.
  • The scholarship winner must enroll in a PCEd program within three months of receiving the award.
  • Only completed applications will be accepted.
  • Applications received after the deadline date will not be accepted.
  • Applicants may only apply for one scholarship award per year.
  • The scholarship is not transferable.
