PCEd Courses and Programs
are taken entirely Online using your own computer. Before enrolling, review the following Computer Requirements to ensure that you can take advantage of all of the PCEd Online learning modules associated with your course or program.
Minimum and Recommended Computer Requirements for PCEd Online Courses
Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista
PC with 1.0 gigahertz (GHz) or higher processor clock speed; Intel Pentium/Celeron family, AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor recommended.
256 megabytes (MB) of RAM minimum, 512 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended
Super VGA (1024 x 768) resolution video adapter and monitor
Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse, or compatible pointing device
56 Kbps or higher-speed modem minimum; broadband network connection recommended

A Special Notice for Macintosh Users
PCEd’s Learning Management System works on a Mac, however, some of our courses include software that is not Mac-compatible. When PCEd decided what software to use in our programs, we chose the software employers use most often. This software typically requires a PC. Therefore, we do not recommend that students use a Mac.
