Students enrolled in a diploma program will receive a FREE five-week Career Development (CD) course valued at $695.00. The School Director teaches the CD course.

In the Career Development course, students will prepare a resume and a cover and thank you letter. They will acquire skills necessary to properly prepare typical pre-employment forms. In addition, interviewing techniques are taught and practiced. The CD course will help to optimize a student’s potential for employment by developing skills in communication, business etiquette, problem solving, critical thinking, time management and interpersonal skills.

Job counseling is an unlimited free service for current program students and graduates. Current program students and graduates will be provided the opportunity to have mock interviews (via telephone or in person), with a school administrator, when they are actively seeking employment.

Current program students and graduates will have complementary access to the school’s fax machine to send resumes, and assistance to rewrite resumes, and hone cover letters while they are actively seeking employment.

During the last week of the CD course, students will complete their resume portfolio. The portfolio is intended for submission to potential employers. The resume portfolio will consist of the following:

Reference letter from the School Director

Detailed outline of the skills and software learned

Certificate of Completion for every course passed

Program Diploma

Cover Letter
